Prominent Indian Mining Tycoon Harpal Randhawa and Son Lose Lives in Zimbabwe Plane Crash

Indian miner Harpal Randhawa and his son are among six killed in Zimbabwe plane crash

Prominent Indian mining giant and RioZim owner Harpal Randhawa and his son tragically lost their lives in a devastating plane crash near a diamond mine in south-western Zimbabwe. The incident, which occurred due to a technical fault, also took the lives of four other persons.

The ill-fated Cessna 206 aircraft, owned by Riozim, was en route from Harare to the Murowa diamond mine when the disaster occurred. The aircraft, which exploded in mid-air, possibly due to a technical failure, crashed near the Murova Diamonds mine, partly owned by Ryozim. All six people on board, including four foreigners and two Zimbabweans, died in the crash. Authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased.

While Riozim confirmed the accident, the investigation is ongoing, and the company has promised to cooperate with authorities. The tragic loss of Harpal Randhawa and his son has left a void in the mining industry, and tributes are pouring in from colleagues and friends. The community and law enforcement agencies are united in managing the aftermath of this heartbreaking plane crash.
