Pakistan Accuses India’s RAW of Involvement in Mastung Bomb Blast, Death Toll Surges to 60

The death toll in the devastating mosque blast in Balochistan’s Mastung has risen to at least 60 as the country mourns the loss of life. The blast occurred during a procession to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, causing widespread destruction. The death toll continues to rise with seven additional people dying in hospitals, and several others seriously injured. Meanwhile, an attack on a separate mosque in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa left five people dead because of a suicide bomber.

No group has claimed responsibility for any of the attacks, leading to uncertainty about the perpetrators. The incidents have raised concerns about the impact on election preparations and public campaigning ahead of Pakistan’s national vote in January, as the threat of terrorist attacks increases in western provinces.

Allegation on India’s RAW

Pakistani officials are not hesitating to accuse India’s intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of being involved in the suicide attack. Although specific evidence has not been provided. Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has announced a united effort across civilian, military and other institutions to capture those responsible. India’s Ministry of External Affairs and government spokesperson remained silent in response to the allegations and refrained from immediate comment.
