Buck Moon 2023

Full Moon 2023

Full Moon is also known as the buck moon. The name Buck Moon is derived from the new antlers that emerge on a deer’s forehead around this time. Since the Moon is closest to Earth, we can clearly see a sizable image of it.

The day is also observed as Guru Purnima in religions like Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Skywatchers and astronomers are waiting anxiously to observe this Supermoon. We can see this magnificent phenomenon on July 3 this year.
