CoCo Lee Hong Kong singer and songwriter, dies at 48.

Coco Lee, a well-known Asian singer-songwriter, committed herself on Wednesday. She was 48 years old. On social media, her sisters posted a notice about her demise. According to her sisters, CoCo had been dealing with depression for some time and attempted suicide on July 2, 2023, as well. Despite being in the hospital, she passed away after going into a coma.

Lee was born in Hong Kong; later, she moved to the U.S., where she attended school in San Francisco. She became a singer with her first album in 1994, at the age of 19. She appeared in several films and TV dramas, including “Love on the Rocks” and “Master of None.”

Some of her popular songs include “Do You Want My Love,” “A Love Before Time” (from the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”), and “Before I Fall in Love” (from the movie “Runaway Bride”).
